The award you can’t photoshop.

The Millionaire Awards recognizes people who built real wealth and publishes the true stories of how they did it. Every award can be checked by anyone, so none can be faked: a direct answer to an internet where AI makes looking rich free.

Our mission

Honor the real millionaires, not the fake ones.

Our mission is to make the world a little more honest about success: to share the true stories of real millionaires, so people are inspired by what really works and protected from those who only sell the dream. Read our manifesto.

The angle

Forbes ranks the billionaires. Nobody honors the millionaires next door. We do.

Forbes ranks a few thousand billionaires, by name, in real time. Nobody honors the millions of ordinary people who quietly built real wealth, one million or fifty: the plumber with four buildings, the woman who turned a market stall into a supply chain, the craftsman who spent fifty years perfecting one thing. They appear on no list, and the young people learning about money from rented-jet videos never hear how they did it. The Millionaire Awards honors them, one seat at a time, and publishes the true stories of how they did it.

The facts
  • Open to anyone with a net worth of US$1,000,000 or more. Applying is free; millionaires apply for themselves, and every application is read by a person.
  • Laureates sit on walls of 100, every seat equal: no rankings, no numbers, no figures. Each is featured for a year, then held permanently in the Hall of Laureates.
  • Activation is $999 once, or a donation of $2,000 to a charity of the laureate’s choice.
  • No wealth figure is ever displayed. Laureates may appear by name, by initials or anonymously.
  • Every award can be checked at TheMillionaireAwards.com/verify.
Story angles
  • The antidote to the “finfluencer”: real millionaires on what actually worked, and the questions anyone should ask before buying a course (our guide).
  • AI and the end of visual proof: when a yacht costs one sentence, what still proves anything?
  • The quiet millionaire: the plumber with four buildings, the cleaner who owns the company.
  • Rags to riches: laureates available for interview on request.
  • Generosity instead of a fee: laureates who chose to give to a charity of their choice.
